Hasbulla article not approved

Hi, C1K98V. You said that the subject of my article (Hasbulla Magomedov), does "not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject". In the sources I provided, to me it seems like they do, since all of the articles are about him. I am just a beginner editor, so I just wanted to know what your thought process was in not approving my article, rather than complaining about the fact it wasn't approved. I also wanted to point out that other social media stars with significantly less following have been written about on WP, for example British instagrammer Francis Bourgeois, and I have used sources from the same sites as him. I feel that since he is from the West, he has more "mainstream" sources writing about him, however Hasbulla does not speak English, so that detriments him. The fact that the subject is not from the West should not mean that he doesn't get on wikipedia, right? However, thanks for taking the time to look over my article! Hi, C1K98V. AIV is for vandalism, not disagreements with other editors. Please see WP:NOTVANDALISM. If you have concerns about how another editor is treating you, the best thing to do is reach out to them and express those concerns politely, diplomatically, and constructively. If that doesn't work, then there is WP:AN/I. But if you do take this matter to AN/I, you need to provide clear evidence (in the form of diffs) of the other editor violating Wikipedia policies or guidelines, as well as evidence that your attempts at dispute resolution have failed.

I would have done that myself, but after analysing, reviewing, I came up that disambiguated is not necessary for the article. Because we have multiple articles on works titled Hush Hush, we need to have a disambiguation page. If there was a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, the article about a specific subject would be at the base title and the disambiguation page would be moved to Hush hush (disambiguation). However, it's unlikely that a brand new TV series will meet the criteria for WP:DETERMINEPRIMARY. In time, it's possible that the TV series will become the primary topic, and then it would be appropriate to move the article to the base title. Hi C1K98V, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I've been a bit busy IRL. Article assessment is not an area I do a lot of work in, or have much experience of, so you may be better served by seeking out an editor more experienced in this area. I don't have any names I could recommend but it may be worthwhile perusing Category:Wikipedia AfC reviewers to get help from suitable editors experienced in this regard.

I've had a look at the Draft articles you asked me about and I'll give you my initial observations, for what it's worth. There are numerous sources listed including press releases, many of them only cover the film superficially or not in enough depth to satisfy the notability guidelines of WP:NFILM. Several are also not recognised by the community as suitably reliable sources - see WP:RS/P. You've also had some feedback already from AFC reviewers which you should take heed of, particularly keeping multiple variants of the same article in Draft space. This creates unneccesary work for volunteers and you'd be best advised to move variants to userspace and avoid submitting for AFC review until you've finalised a "definitive version". I understand these were not all created by you, so perhaps co-ordinate your efforts with the other relevant creators. Also, don't forget to "uncomment" the fair use image of the film poster if the article goes "live". Fair use images are only allowed in Article space.

Animated image

I just happened to be browsing Ashi Singh and thought back to an edit of mine from long ago[4]. Somehow I never noticed your message at User_talk:DMacks/Archive_51#Media File. My original concern as I stated in my edit was "distracting animation for purely decorative image". Obviously reasonable people can disagree whether it is too distracting and/or serves a non-decorative purpose. However, I also now see that File:Ashi Singh.gif does not seem to meet the MOS:ANIMATION standard. It is image is about 10 seconds without 'stop'/etc controls and at least by eye has a bunch of flashing regions due to the jerkiness of the motion--each of those is a separate guideline it does not meet.
